--------------------------------- New Version Notes
The only change in this version has to do with the drums, on this song, I opted to have a ride based rhythm for the choruses due to the intensity of the song, however, there is one place where I forgot to give this treatment and that is in the last part of the intro of the song, that is what was updated to go more accordigly to the intro you hear, I really hate when things like this happen, and I have said this many times, I will sound like a broken record, but considering all the elements you have in your plate and that you can configure, it is extremely easy to overlook something, sometimes I also get fixated with some element as well that I end up neglecting other stuff, but something I would really hate more, would be to ignore the error or the element I'm not satisfied with, if I'm aware of them, so, better strike when the iron is hot, and that's about it, keep having fun, over and out.
--------------------------------------------- Original Description:
This is the second song of a collaboration I did with Ultimate Mango, if you know your history from C3, he's one of the legends in this business so getting to work with someone like him, well, it's not something you do every day, he's a cool guy and I learned a lot of stuff from him, this is originally a project he started quite some time ago, I just pitched in to complete it. This is the song that started the classic Naruto filler era, something not many people remember very fondly, but at least the silver lining in this case is that we got to enjoy really great songs from different artists, this one is brought by the one and only, the Japanese punk Gods, the Stance Punks, as you can imagine from their punk style, this is a fast-paced song, to put your arms to test (or for arm training), specially on drums, but well, this is the song that comes after the fallout of the Sasuke rescue attempt arc, so it was a good decision to have a song like No Boy No Cry, the same essentially talks about the disappointment and kind of depression a boy is facing, someone is trying to cheer up a boy and explain him not to give up in a nutshell, with phrases like, humans are not that great, you're not old enough to be selling your dreams to anxiety, and that the only one that can pull the trigger of the gun in your heart is you, that sitting and doing nothing will make no difference and that it is only us who can decide when to make that difference, something different to release yourself from the shackles and to keep moving. With that you can relate the song to Naruto, and his state of mind after trying to retrieve Sasuke and failing in doing so, all of this brought to us by a fantastic performance from the Stance Punks, anyway, hope you enjoy.
