When I found out that the name of the Uchi no Kaisha no Chiisai Senpai no Hanashi opening was Honey, that juggled my memory and made me think, there was another song with that name that comes to my mind, some months back before this custom making break, on the last batch I worked, I ended up doing a kind of Cardcaptor Sakura themed batch (along with Escaflowne, and along Maaya Sakamoto), so, since I still had a bit of that Cardcaptor Sakura vibe, I decided to take on this song. After writing on the Honey meaning from the other song, well, on this one the concept of the Honey is taken into a different direction, in this case, the theme of song is overall about someone who is somewhat melancholic, very much as Sakura in the ED sequence from the anime, someone that is looking through the window over a rainy day, reminiscing of the past and longing for a certain someone that this person wishes could be by his/her side, the Honey part of this song comes in a phrase from this song where it says, just like honey spreading out sweetly in warm milk, the heart of this person dissolves in the same suit, and that the smile of this person is the finest or best Honey for this melancholic person, overall, a very chill and calm song to soothe your souls, a soft melody that also goes to further lengths with Chihiro's singing. With this song out of the way, there are only two other songs from the main songs of OG CCS, however, before going into Clear Card territory, there are at least other three songs which I like to explore before considering my journey on OG CCS done, that's the idea, I hope I can get this done before the second of Clear Card starts in April at least, anyway, hope you enjoy.
