Something I have to mention here is that unfortunately for this custom, the audio is not exactly the best, I looked around and tried with, like 4 or 5 different files but the result was mostly the same, it is what it is, however, I believe that in this type of songs, the nostalgic factor normally overcomes any other shortcoming you may think about, and nothing that a little high volume cannot fix, anyway, Ranma 1/2 songs were something I had in my mind since a while, and specially when the remake for this anime was announced, that was the last push I needed, there are a lot of great songs to cover here, but of course, we need to go step by step, on this first batch, obviously this one needed to be included, you cannot think of Ranma 1/2 without thinking on this song, this is the one that introduced most of us to the Ranma 1/2 series, and by extension, the Rumiko Takahashi wide universe, a song that for many of us, is kept closely to our hearts and is remembered fondly. Etsuko Nishio brings a lovely and somewhat comical performance with this song, that of course go with the comedy and romance explored in Ranma 1/2, the song is seemingly sung from Akane's perspective and explain different situation on her relationship with Ranma, things like wanting to compete every time and because of that getting pumped up and wild (hence the name of the song which is something like - Don't make me wild like you), how she feels reluctant to tell Ranma her love, that she gets excited whenever she turns his gaze over her, but in the end, she goes back in her statement, her actions, in a last minute fashion and it turns into a competition or heated argument, very much like the whole story of Ranma 1/2, exciting times are ahead of us with this remake in the making, anyway, hope you enjoy.
