Despite having "Just Like Heaven" on disc in Rock Band 3, we never got any more The Cure songs until RB4 brought "Friday I'm in Love." This song, which was on the GH: WoR disc, would have been a prime choice for DLC. Guitar is probably the most fun instrument here, with a variety of single-note leads and melodies throughout the song. The bass part is an awesome groove, one of the best basslines ever written...but it's just that bassline, repeating over and over. The drum part is a 16th note hi-hat disco beat that has a little variety in the small snare fills throughout. The keys part is fairly sparse, and comes in at times to play a couple chords and some twinkly melodies. The vocal part is quite fun to sing, as Robert Smith tends to change it up in every line, but unfortunately you have to wait minutes for the singing to even start.
