This track starts out soft and acoustic with just guitar and vocals, but builds into a huge climax. Vocals are the focal point of the song, being the key part of aforementioned climax - prior to that, Thom primarily sticks to a low and very "naked" voice. Guitar features slow acoustic chord strumming for the first half of the song, then turns to electric tremolo strumming. Drums and bass don't come in for a long time - the former has a swung groove with a bunch of fills throughout, the latter playing a heavy, distorted bassline that drives the loud part of the song. Keys have atmospheric choir pad chords and long single-note sustains, so it's not a very demanding part.
